The individual(s) will review the website code and architecture and highlight general weaknesses that affect stability, security, loading speed, user experience, and searchability. Translators (Persian or English - Azeri/Turkish; Persian or English - French; Persian or English - Kurdish). Journalism for Change is seeking translators to translate news stories from Persian or English to the languages above to include translated texts and graphics, subtitling short videos or animations, and preparing text for voice over. Freelance Journalists We maintain a roster of freelance journalists globally for reporting on Iranian politics and public policy, economy, culture, human rights, local issues. We are looking for journalists fluent (reading, writing, and speaking) in Persian and/or English, with five or more years experience in journalism or related fields, and with extensive knowledge of and contacts within Iran. Our ideal journalists understand writing for the web and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Knowledge of multimedia reporting is welcomed. Expertise in one or more of the following fields is required - journalism, media development, human rights, civil society, governance, community development, and the arts. Consultants in Social Media Management We maintain a roster of experts for occasional short- or long-term assignments to assist our projects with social media applications to maximize our audience reach, engagement, and retention; design methods to survey our audiences, and; integrate social media with our monitoring and evaluation efforts. We are looking for knowledge of multiple social media platforms, an ability to adapt to rapidly changing audience dynamics; and the ability to collaborate with cross-cultural teams in person and virtually.
